The dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas on US Highway 93 at the Nevada-Arizona border.
OPERATING HOURS:
Note: All times are for the Pacific Time Zone.
Parking Garage: Open 8:00 a.m. -- Close 5:00 p.m.
Visitor Center: Open 9:00 a.m. -- Close 5:00 p.m. Tickets sold until 4:15 p.m.
The Hoover Dam Visitor Center is open every day of the year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Note: To see it all, we recommend visitors arrive by 3:00 p.m. Pedestrians are prohibited from the top of the dam during hours of darkness.
ADMISSION FEES:
Parking fee: $7.00 (cash only)
Adults (Ages 17-61) $11.00
Seniors (62+) $9.00
Juniors (Ages 7-16) $6.00

RED ROCK CANYON
Hours
Red Rock Canyon NCA is a day use area with the exception of the developed campground.
The Scenic Drive hours are:
November 1 through February 28/29; 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.
March 1 through March 31; 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
April 1 through September 30; 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
October 1 through October 31; 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The Red Rock Overlook on SR 159 (W. Charleston Blvd) is open for one additional hour.
FREEMONT EXPERIENCE
Cost and Financing:
The original project (completed in 1995) was a $70 million investment between The Fremont Street Experience Company, LLC – comprised of a collection of downtown hotel/casino operators – and the City of Las Vegas.
Sources of capital investment were as follows:

» Redevelopment Agency $22.4 million
» City of Las Vegas $ 5.2 million
